Brief History : St. Mary's Parish, Talavadi was a part of Doddagajanur parish. In 1975, Fr. P. J. Joseph brought 14 families into the fold. During the subsequent years, 17 families followed their example. On 28th April 1974, St. Mary's Church was blessed and inaugurated and three years later it became an independent parish on 1st June, 1977.

Brief History : The village of Mudianur was already known to the Jesuits of the Mysore Mission. In 1962, it became an independent parish, which was until then a sub-station of Doddagajanur. Fr. P.D'Mello S.J was the first parish priest. The church was built by Fr. Abraham Kuttilampel in 1967 and was blessed on 3rd December, 1967. It has a sub-station at Doddapura with a church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

Brief History : Till 1951 Soosaipuram was a sub-station of Doddagajanur. In 1951 Fr. Nouet started an agricultural colony for the benefit of a backward community which had immigrated from Avanashi taluk. In 1963 it was erected into a separate parish. The new church was built by Fr. Mathew Vakayil and blessed in 1967. The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary opened a convent in Soosaipuram in 1965. They also opened a dispensary and a maternity centre. In 1968 an elementary school was started which later grew up into a middle school and then a Higher Secondary school.
