Brief History : The village of Mudianur was already known to the Jesuits of the Mysore Mission. In 1962, it became an independent parish, which was until then a sub-station of Doddagajanur. Fr. P.D'Mello S.J was the first parish priest. The church was built by Fr. Abraham Kuttilampel in 1967 and was blessed on 3rd December, 1967. It has a sub-station at Doddapura with a church dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
