Brief History : St. Mary's Parish, Talavadi was a part of Doddagajanur parish. In 1975, Fr. P. J. Joseph brought 14 families into the fold. During the subsequent years, 17 families followed their example. On 28th April 1974, St. Mary's Church was blessed and inaugurated and three years later it became an independent parish on 1st June, 1977.
