Brief History : Until this parish was inaugurated the Catholics of this area were attending mass at the semi-public chapel of St. Joseph's College that enjoyed the benefit of its own Chaplain. To help the Catholics of this area, this new parish was started in 1981. On 2nd January, 2000 the newly constructed church by Rev. Fr. Cyril Lazarus was blessed and consecrated by His Excellency Most Rev. Dr. Antony Anandarayar.
